Balázs Szabó
He was born at Székesfehérvár 29. September 1970. He started his music studies in the local music school. Between 1985 and 1989 he was the student of the Music Secondary School at Veszprém, and then of Liszt Ferenc Music High School at Győr, where he got a violin chamber musician and teacher’s degree in 1993. In 1995 he started learning at Liszt Ferenc Music Acadamy at the faculty of musicology and received his diploma of musicologist and music literature teacher in 2000.
Between 2000 and 2003 he participated a doctor course and he submitted his dissertation in 2015 on „ Form and meaning in Bartók violin sonatas”. He completed his doctorial theses the same year and earned a PhD degree.
Since 1993 he has been the teacher of Hermann László Music Secondary School and AMI, and he has been associate professor at Széchenyi University Arts Faculty at Győr.
