Cecília Ungár started her studies at Dunakeszi Farkas Ferenc AMI, as a student of Erzsébet dr. Domoszlai. She studied there until finishing secondary school. She participated in several competitions and concerts with outstanding results. In 2016, she achieved second place in the XIV. National Piano Competition at Nyíregyháza. The same year, she won the first place in the VII. Farkas Ferenc Piano Competition. In 2017, she was selected to „the Virtuosos”, the classical music talent tv show, where she reached the semi-finals. Since September 2020, she has been studying at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. Her mentors are Katalin Falvai and János Balázs, the artistic director of the Georges Cziffra Memorial Year.

She had the opportunity to take part in recording the works of Sándor Szokolay, in the Budapest Music Center, in cooperation with the Virtuosos. She performed at the Mozart-house in Wien and in the National Museum of Budapest. She played Mozart Piano Concerto in C (K.467) and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in blue several times with Dunakeszi Symphony Orchestra. In November 2021 she performed at Covent Garden, London as part of the Cziffra Memorial Year.
