Fuad Ibrahimov
Fuad Ibrahimov is the principal conductor of the New Philharmonic Orchestra of Munich and the Baku Chamber Orchestra.
In 1998 he was admitted to the viola section of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, where he worked until 2002. In 2006, Ibrahimov began his conducting studies with Prof. Michael Luig at the Cologne Academy of Music. Since 2013, Fuad Ibrahimov has been a holder of the President’s Scholarship of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Fuad Ibrahimov won 2nd prize at the Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition in Paris in 2018. In 2019, he was on tour with the Kremerata Baltica and Gidon Kremer in the Baltic states and at the Enescu Festival of Bucharest. In the same year, he performed with the Sinfonia Varsovia at the Folle Journée in Tokyo. Fuad Ibrahimov was invited last December 2021 to close the Moscow Rostropovich Festival alongside the Russian State Symphony Orchestra.
Fuad Ibrahimov has performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Halle, the Göttingen and the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, Kremerata Baltica and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra,
He recorded a new CD for Delos with the Russian State Symphony Orchestra.
