Szilvia Becze

After finishing her studies at the Music Academy and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and having spent multiple years as an active musician at the Budapest Festival Orchestra, she turned towards journalism; initially in parallel with music, and then as a full-time journalist.

She is the editor-presenter of countless live programs, portraits, children- and youth programs’ at Bartók Radio, moreover she is a frequent moderator at National State Opera, Peter Eötvös Contemporary Music Foundation, BMC, Müpa Budapest (Palace of Arts), Filharmonia Hungary, and at many other classical music- and cultural venues and events.

Apart from her extensive work as a moderator, she also writes books about classical music for children, biographies, and other cultural articles.
