Youth in focus

The next concert in the joint young talent series of the Cziffra Festival and the Liszt Institute Brussels will feature pianist Henrik Szőcs, recipient of the Cziffra Festival Talent Award.

The series is dedicated to showcasing the most promising young Hungarian classical musicians, providing them with opportunities to perform and supporting their artistic development. Through its talent development programme, the Cziffra Festival not only recognizes outstanding achievements with awards but also fosters young artists’ careers through prestigious concert engagements in Hungary and abroad, as well as long-term professional mentorship. The Brussels concert series builds on this mission, creating a bridge between emerging Hungarian talents and international audiences.

Henrik Szőcs is a young pianist distinguished by his technical brilliance, refined musical sensitivity, and distinctive artistic voice. His performances offer fresh perspectives on the masterpieces of the classical piano repertoire while revealing his own unique musical personality. He is also a dedicated interpreter of contemporary music.

The concert also celebrates the international presence of Hungarian musical culture and continues one of the most important messages of György Cziffra’s artistic legacy: supporting exceptional talent, championing artistic freedom, and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
