Ce 5 novembre sera marqué par le centenaire de la naissance de Georges, ou György, Cziffra. Anniversaire célébré non seulement en France et en Hongrie, mais aussi un peu partout dans le monde : quinze pays de New York à Paris en passant par Londres, Moscou, Bruxelles, Vienne et Genève. Célébrations auxquelles ont apporté ou apporteront leur concours les artistes et formations les plus célèbres, tels Boris Berezovsky, Martha Argerich, Denis Matsuev, Mischa Maisky, Mikko Franck, l´Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, ou encore l´Orchestre de Radio France.

L’Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France et Mikko Franck proposent en création mondiale le Concerto pour piano et cymbalum de Peter Eötvös, Cziffra Psodia, à l’occasion du centenaire de la naissance de Georges Cziffra.

Les concerts résonnent de nouveau dans les salles ! A l’auditorium de Radio France, mais aussi dans d’autres lieux de concerts, les formations musicales de Radio France, leurs artistes en résidence ainsi que les artistes invités rivalisent de leurs talents. Voici la liste des concerts symphoniques à ne pas manquer.

La 34esima edizione del Festival Liszt Albano Laziale si svolgerà dal 10 ottobre al prossimo 28 novembre nello storico Palazzo Savelli in Piazza della Costituente. Si tratta del festival lisztiano più longevo e di eccellenza in Italia, già inserito nel 2018 fra le manifestazioni dell’Anno Europeo del Patrimonio Culturale.

On August 15, classical music will fill the night in the city center of Debrecen for the third time, organized by the Kodály Philharmonic. The event, held in the main square, entertained a crowd of ten thousand in 2019. In this year’s ‘Night of the Classics’ there will be another major concert in the main square with the participation of Kossuth Prize-winning pianist János Balázs and prize-winning harpist Andrea Vigh with the Kodály Philharmonic who will honor the memory of the great Hungarian pianist György Cziffra. The event is midway into the debut of the 10-day Debrecen Music Festival.

Born a century ago this year, pianist György Cziffra is being celebrated in many ways around Budapest. Now Neopaint, the team behind the 6:3 and Nation’s Actors murals at key points around the city, has just unveiled another. Based on an actual photograph taken in 1962, the painting at Batthyány tér shows the later French national at the keyboard, wearing the wristband he required after his limbs were damaged at a Communist labour camp.

Vineri 11 iunie 2021, de la ora 18:30, Filarmonica “Dinu Lipatti” ne invită la un nou concert simfonic (Ab. 29), de data aceasta în cadrul Festivalului „Cziffra György”. Dirijor va fi Horváth József iar solist la pian Balázs János. În program: Vasily Kalinnikov – Simfonia nr. 1 în sol minor; Franz Liszt – Concert nr. 1 în Mi Bemol Major pentru pian şi orchestră.

În această săptămână Filarmonica Dinu Lipatti ne introduce în programul unui cunoscut festival din Ungaria, aflat în acest la cea de-a șasea ediție, ediție care coincide și cu aniversarea cu numărul 100 a celui care a fost Cziffra György. Pentru aceasta îi vom avea ca invitați pe dirijorul Operei Maghiare din Cluj, Horváth József, și pe tânărul (33 de ani), dar consacratul pianist Balázs János, cel care a inițiat acest festival în urmă cu cinci ani.

A concert is being held in the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music Oct. 22 in celebration of the Gyorgy Cziffra Memorial Year as well as the 210th birth anniversary of Ferenc Liszt.
