Ildikó Rozsonits

At the age of ten, she was admitted to the Special School for Exceptional Talents at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where she studied with Gábor Eckhardt and Dr. Mariann Marczi. She was also mentored by János Balázs as part of the Talentum Hungaricum programme.

Over the past nine years, she has won first prize at 17 prestigious international piano competitions in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Russia, Belgium, France, Spain, Romania and Hungary.

In 2026, she advanced to the top 15 at the prestigious Liszt Ferenc International Piano Competition. In 2025, she won Second Prize at the Bartók World Competition in Budapest, where she was also the highest-ranked Hungarian competitor and the youngest finalist. The same year, she reached the top 12 and advanced to the semi-finals in the adult category of the Aarhus International Piano Competition in Denmark.

Her achievements have been recognised with numerous awards and scholarships, including the Concorde Award, the Zoltán Kocsis Young Talent Scholarship and the Talentum Hungaricum Scholarship. In 2022, she received the Junior Prima Award, followed by the Cziffra Festival Creative Artist Award in 2024.

She has already had the opportunity to showcase her talent at some of Hungary’s and Europe’s leading concert venues and alongside renowned orchestras and artists. She has performed in the Grand Hall of the Liszt Academy with the Liszt Ferenc Chamber Orchestra and the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra; at Pesti Vigadó with the Zugló Philharmonic Orchestra; and in the final of Virtuosos with the Danubia Orchestra. Her appearances have also included the House of Music Hungary, Budapest Music Center, the Warsaw Chamber Opera, and the final of the Genève Musicale competition in Switzerland with the Ensemble Solistes de Neuchâtel.

She has performed in Český Krumlov with the Zlín Philharmonic Orchestra, at Prague’s Rudolfinum with the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, and in the Grand Hall of the Liszt Academy with violist Maxim Rysanov. Further appearances have taken her to the Semperoper in Dresden, Brussels, Stuttgart and Copenhagen, as well as to Müpa Budapest. She has also appeared on Hungary’s M5 cultural television channel and Bartók Radio.
