Olivér Kepes

Olivér Kepes was born in 1999 in Hungary. He started his music studies at the age of 8 in his home town Hatvan, a small city close to Budapest.

In 2014 he joined the Leó Weiner Musical Secondary School where he studied under the tuition of András Héra. At this time he made his debut with the Budapest Strings Chamber Orchestra.

Since 2019 he has been studying under Imre Hargitai and János Balázs at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest where, besides his solo studies he also takes chamber music classes with Gábor Csalog and András Szalai.

Besides his academic studies he attended the masterclasses of Tamás Vásáry, Károly Mocsári, Kálmán Dráfi, Dénes Várjon and Bruno Vlahek.
