Petra Gubik

Petra Gubik is a Junior Prima, Honthy and Petőfi Music Award winning actor and singer. She plays in numerous plays and musical productions throughout the country, she’s currently a member of the Játékszín Theatre company. In addition to her theatrical career, she consciously follows her own path as a perfomer-singer-songwriter. In 2022, she released her first solo album, titled “Ez van, ez!” (That’s it, that!), which she co-authored with Edina Szirtes Mókus and Péter Müller Sziámi. “Music is there in everyday life, it woven throughout one’s life, body and soul. It heals, entertains, relaxes, and functions as therapy. – GP.” That’s why she created her own musical project, titled “Mi van a zsebemben?” (What’s in my pocket?) which she initially built on a single piano and later on an acoustic orchestral sound in 2023. During the evening, Petra presents her own thoughts, poems, songs, stories, unique arrangements without role-playing. She pulls it all out of her pocket with unvarnished honesty and naturalness. From the cross-section of this concert evening, her second album was released in December 2024. She has also proven her versatility in television shows, among others she’s the only female winner in the history of the famous Hungarian TV Show “Sztárban Sztár”. She is the station voice of the Csukás Radio, and from February 2025 she’s been a member of the jury of the musical talent show: A Dal 2025.
