Vilmos Oláh
Vilmos Oláh has been playing classical guitar for 11 years. In 2017, he started to study at Béla Bartok secondary school of music, where he had the opportunity to learn from Sandor Szilvagyi Liszt prize winner guitarist. He has achieved excellent positions in more than 10 classical guitar competitions over the past 11 years.Among other things, the 2017 Hommage to Luigi Legnani International Guitar Competetion: 1. placement and special prize, 10th International Guitar Competition held in 2018: 1.place, 5th Venice International Guitar Competition in 2020: 1st place. He has gave solo concerts in many popular concert halls. Among others in the great hall of the academy of music Ferenc Liszt from Budapest , in the Solti Hall and in the Dome Hall too. He also performed in the big hall of the Budapest Music Center, in the Marble Hall of the Hungarian Radio, in the Nádor Hall, in Kocsis Zoltán room. He could give solo concerts in Sturovo, Bratislava and Banská Štiavnica. He had the chance to participate at master classes from many world-renowned artists such as Paul O’dette Grammy Award-winning luteartist, and members of the Bratislava Guitar Quartet. In 2021, he was admitted to the Liszt Ferenc University of music, where he is already learning from Dr. József Eötvös Liszt Award-winner guitarist. In 2021, he won silver medal at the Virtuosos V4+ Talent show.During the competition he was invited to a concert by the famous opera legend Maestro Placido Domingo who was also member of the jury .
